Snowing like Mad
Well, they warned us, lake effect snow. We've gotten a few inches today. Luckily I left for work before it hit hard, a friend here said it took her 2 hours (normally a short drive). We are lucky though that it is mid November and the bad weather has only now hit us. A few nights ago (Monday maybe) it was 70 deg f at 10:00pm! That's what they say about Ohio weather; if you don't like it just stick around awhile.
The barometer apparently took a sharp dive yesterday as the cold front rolled in. My forehead around my eyes was KILLING me last night. Worst sinus pressure I have ever felt. Took some meds and went to bed miserable. The meds worked but made me nervous or agitated. Spent the night tossing around and worrying about a dumb fundraiser.
I'll be glad when Phil gets home, comments have slowed a little, but also that's probably because my posting is slow too. I did get a comment from someone new. Fluke, funny guy. It's amazing how many characters there are out there. It's funny how you can go out in blogland and find so many funny, smart, funny people. But I always have in the back of my mind," I wonder if I'd speak to this person if I saw him/her on the street." I am one who trusts instincts and believes strongly in chemistry and intuition. Those are all the components missing here in cyber-space. I think there is something to be said for trusting your gut, but it all goes out the window when your sole source of opinion comes from someone's written word. It's weird.
Eating a ham sandwich I packed to save money. I bought this bread yesterday, and the crust is a little stale : -( Just like the buggy pasta of last week, brand new and no good! WTF? I spend so much money at that store. There is no way I should put up with anything but perfect quality. But you can't help feeling like a tight wad if you were to go in with a two dollar loaf of bread to return it... right? or a box of pasta that cost $1.80? I don't know. If it were a roast or something, I'd probably forget my pride and take it back.
Looks like I will be leaving work early today, so my daughter isn't stuck waiting and wondering where the hell I am. I keep glancing out the window and all I see is a wall of white.

Still v. cold here today, but I think it's gonna melt tomorrow (46degf).
Yeah, I figured out how we were connected. Thanks!
And people say the weather in England is bad lol.
Well it is isn't it? You probably don't get the accumulations that we do though in NE Ohio.
