My new hobby? Cleaning up Pee
Oh yeah, that's my old hobby.
Just when you thought it was safe to read this... the pee, it's everywhere. Sunday my 3 year old peed her pants leavg a puddle on the kitchen floor. We can't quite figure out what is up with her, she seems to be backsliding a bit with that.
Yesterday it was a much much larger puddle of dog pee, we (hubby and I) are partly to blame. Maybe we were a tiny bit slow to get her out, but still! She had been out less than 2 hours prior.
Today, puppy again but in our dining room on the carpet. This is her favorite spot to urinate/deficate as it is the least used room on the first floor (aside from the one she sleeps in (not so dumb after all). It always makes me think of a line from an Alan Sherman song (from the 50-60's I'd guess) "Our brand new puppy, His name is spot, He's being housetrained, Our rug is shot, Our very best room became his (her) restroom, he needs more lessons"
Aside from urine, things are okay. I'm very tired. Got up at 5:20am after going to sleep around 11:30pm. Funny but compared to when I had a newborn baby around, that's an awesome night of sleep, but it isn't cutting it anymore.
I'm very happy about all the recent visits and comments on my blog. I'm glad I didn't give it up, and yes, it helps that a few of the comments have the word 'hot' in them. But as I've said before (quoting the wise Chris Rock) Women need compliments.
Funny, today I thought I was dressed well (at least not jeans today) in a black suit with a pink knit top under. I had my hair in a huge curly mess and my glasses on. I didn't think I looked good per-say, but I felt adequate I guess. My husband shows up at the office (yes we work together) and said something like "What you got goin' on there?" with obvious distaste. Don't remember the exact conversation, but the rest of the day I felt like a dumpy turd!
Also funny that I thought I was having the most shit day yesterday, until this morning Heather told me about her Monday night/Tuesday morning. I was like "Whew, I thought I was having a rough day." Heather and I are planning to see Memoirs of a Geisha on opening night (dec. 9). I'm pumped. I feel like putting on white makeup and a 'split peach' hair style. I would but I think Heather (and my husband) would think I'm a freak. With my American Indian Schnoz, I hardly look the part (that and my generous proportions!!!!). Anyway I wonder if anyone will dress the part. I dont' know, I loved the book so much I want the movie outing to be a big event. Is that too stupid or what?? Yes, I'm seeking your opinion.
Other coolness... have you looked at my map? I got a big blob on ohio (no suprise) and a slightly smaller in England and another one on blogger headquarters I suspect. But I have a hit in Africa, that's crazy. And a few other places too. That's cool. I always wonder why so few people post, but then again I've been guilty of surfing for an hour or more without a peep.

Ohh, not pee again!
Looks like your Africa hits are in the Canary Islands. Cool!
I noticed the Africa hit. As Scratch says; cool.
Now matter how folk may say stuff, just know that you've got two lil ol Brits that think you're top, so don't worry about a thing.
That film looks quite good, you'll have to let me know what it's like. And no, you're not being silly. You know how I am about Serenity & Firefly.
hey Mary
When I was your daughters age I did the same thing it got so bad I was wetting beds and everywhere
turned out
I had a kidney infection ( one of my kidneys isnt fully developed as I was born 2 months premie)
Now as an adult when I have to go quickly and often its my first sign of an infection before the pain hits
check if she has fever
(I never do but sometimes fever is a sign)
now my daughter wet the bed only up until she was 6.. However it wasnt an infection.. She has ADD and they put her on Rentolin (sp?) and suddenly she stopped wetting the bed
her self esteem also sky rocketed
but then we switched Dr and he didnt like Rentolin said it decreased thier imagination over time freaked me out I took her off and she wet the bed again
Dr said it wasnt related but I think it was related to her ADD
just 2 possibilities (my spelling is crap today sorry)
just remember to love her and not bring to much attention to it my ex did that with my daughter and it caused a big problem :(
she will out grow it
Can you believe there now isn't even a release date for Memoirs... over here??? So much for mid-December - now we've no idea when we'll gte to see it! I'm gutted, so you'd best not say anything about it if it's really good... :(
Mab,
I hate when people spoil movies for me, so don't worry, I would never do that to you!!
Fluke,
He is sleeping when I leave for work! We live and work together, drive separately to drop off/pick up kids.
Nov,
Thanks, I'll keep an eye on it, but I have a feeling it is for attention (not that she doesn't get loads of theat).

Says Jan. 13th for UK Release.
We just got a german shepard less than two years ago. This dog is simply amazing. I've had a number of dogs, but none of them have ever been this smart. Dodger, he was born in a dogde mini van, made one mess in the house. My dad got mad, yelled, put him outside and since hasn't made another. That's all it took. His intelligence is a bit of a problem though. The dog enjoys butter. We used to catch him on top of the kitchen table eating the butter. We then switched to butter that you can keep in the fridge and remains soft, he found this too. e's very smart and responds to all of us very differently. He's an awesome dog, you should get one too!
Dodger is awesome. I want a Shepard, but I don't think now is a good time to get a dog that eats many pounds of food per day. Scout would like the company though.
