The Light at the End of the Tunnel

Well, I actually believe this will be the last week of full time work on this project!! I cannot believe it. It has been almost one year. It has been a stressful pain in the butt year. Almost there...

I really am ready to move onto something new. The new project(s) are with different people. That will be nice. And it will be good for me. I'm so burned out.

Clunk! That is what my car is saying everytime I turn the wheel real far in either direction. The first clunk came as I was pulling out of mom's driveway yesterday. G thinks it is a spring or strut. We are going to take it somewhere today and hopefully get it fixed. I hope it isn't too expensive. This will be the second time we've had a repair on this car. The first repair was covered under some kind of recall, and we even got reimbursed for some other problem that was caused by the recall thing. (Very technical mechanic talk here huh?). I really like that car.

I need coffee. I got to sleep late again for no good reason. I don't know what I'm doing to myself. I really need a long, sound night of sleep. Been hard to blog with this project. I don't get online much from home either. My guts aren't feeling too well today, and I think my sinuses are acting up AGAIN!

My brother and I are arguing over whether Don Knotts was gay. I realize that a lot of gay people marry someone of the opposite sex for various reasons. The fact that he was married three times though?! But, if it is in the Gay Almanac, who am I to argue?

I can't believe there is a Gay Almanac. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

And it seems weird that Knotts would have been married up to his death if he indeed had come out.

I'm not buying it. I think the Gay Almanac had a typo.

It could be the wheel nuts have worked loose. A friend had the exact same problem and it was because his front wheels were about to drop off.

So,
It is the strut on the front passenger side. But with things like that, that are on both sides of a car, you don't replace one side and not the other. The place says we need brake work too (which I would guess is true) The total bill with our 10% discount was for $997. So we picked it up and G is going to work on it or have his buddy work on it. That or a combination of those two things. OUCH!
