Friday the 13th

I was born on a Friday the 13th(Feb. not Jan). So, I've always considered 13 to be lucky for me and have never suffered from triskaidekaphobia.

So far nothing lucky has happened today. I did get a very good night's sleep. I'm in a decent mood. Being productive at work. That's all good, but doesn't seem like the work of mysterious good luck.

Twice this week male coworkers have commented on how straight my hair is (and that they like it straight) is this odd? Considering I've had my hair this way since April and no men mentioned it really, then two this week... What's up with that?

I got back a normal result on my mammogram. I hadn't blogged about getting one in case they found something bad. I don't want to share that type of thing on the Internet. But as the results were negative I feel okay in talking about it now. If you haven't had one, don't sweat it. I don't see what all the fuss about it is. It was a little uncomfortable, but not really all that bad.

Just had a nice lunch with a few friends and my hubby. One beer and I'm totally buzzed. Don't know why beer at lunch always messes me up so much!

Well it's 2 hours later than when I started this post, and still no uncommonly good luck has befallen me.

You could have had Chipotle. It's even nicer with a burrito the size of a small dog.

It's not Ironic, it's what happened. Are you shirring me?

Nothing unlucky here either. Apart from the flu, but I had that since Monday.

Glad your all a-okay health wise.

Beer at lunchtime sends me to sleep. Which is great for work in the afternoon...

"Are you shirring me?" Ha I love it! I feel so damned inmportant!

BJ!! I giggled, I won't lie...I'm still sort of like a ten year old still. There is a store near us called BJ's. When they were first building that, I was shocked and amazed.

I have always prefered curly hair. Our friend, Erin, told me once that it's because after sex women's hair usually gets messed and curly and somehow sub-conciously we relate the two. I'll admit I started to realize I enjoyed curly hair WELL before I began having sex, but it made perfect sense to me. It is nice to have the change though. I always appreciate the curly much more after a week or so of straight.

Well Chris I have some dammned curly hair! Sometimes I just let it go wild, but I really prefer straight. So I think shirring = kidding, anyone else?

And Phil, thanks, but I still haven't gotten results on two other tests. There is something going on, but I think it's going to be a nothing kinda thing (fingers crossed).
