Wish List
Okay, so some want to know what I want/need for Christmas. Well I told Glenn last night that I need some warm/water repellent ski gloves (no I do not ski). I also need some real snow boots that are insulated, non slip, and slide on (dark in color) Something like this:

Those boots are from here:

I just want boots I can slide on if the dogs need out, that are comfy and practical for playing in the snow with the kids too. Just trying to help as I fear I am none of those people that is tough to shop for. I would like a size 8 even though I normally wear a 7 1/2, but I don't want snug snowboots. And in the winter I like to wear thick socks.

$79? That's dead cheap. You'd be looking at £79 in the UK ($145/150). It's Christmas let other people decide if you need a $79 pair of anything.
Ha Ha, You don't know me, the only things I have that are worth more than that are my house, my car and my wedding ring. The sirt I have on was $9, the shoes I have on $15 the jeans were about $20 or $21. Ha ha. I don't like to spend money, especially on myself. And I feel funny asking for costly items. But I do NEED warm snow boots (I live in a VERY snowy town).
Just read Haberchic's comments. I don't think you need to worry about your Brits being stolen from you. That'd never happen.
As for the clothing, that's just sensible. I was buying t-shirts in Florida for $20 which is only £12 which is a steal. But for good boots you gotta pay the price. Or have wet feet. Which I hate.
Those boots are look pretty neat. I don't know much about the LL Bean, though.
LL Bean is awesome, but their style is slightly Lovegren. I have a blazer and a sweater of theirs, my Dad loves to shop with them. They are awesome with the mail order, I could have these boots in a few days if I ordered now. Amazing. THey are based in New England and their quality cannot be surpassed. My LL bean stuff will last longer than me.
I think my dad gets all his work gear from them. I see their catalogs all over their house anyway.
Roger loves it.
THAT'S NOT just you ;-(
