Happy Birthday Brother
My brother had a birthday this week. Happy Birthday Glenn.
My husband had a car accident last week (not his fault). He is finally starting to feel better. The new annoyance is getting calls and letters from ambulance chasers.
We had a water main break near my work which shut us down for half a day on Wednesday. It was nice, we started our day with such leisure.
I think the humidity is around 92% today.
My sister Jeanne was in town last week. Haven't seen her/spoken to her in a year. We were inseparable children. With only 18 months between us we shared friends, clothing, secrets... I never imagined there would come a time where we would go a year without speaking. I try. I sent a Christmas card/gift (no response). I wrote her a letter in January and put my daughter's school pictures in there. We basically keep up with each other through my parents. It was really hard when she first moved away. I missed her so much. It's sad, but I am totally used to her being absent from my life. I have adapted to it. It seems normal. Amazing what 10 years can do. But seeing her brings back so many memories, and some of the pain of being estranged. I really hope my girls will manage to stay close.
It's Friday, the end of a very long work week. I'm hoping to get some extra rest, and to have some fun with the kids. We are planning a nature walk at a nearby park on Sunday. That will be really nice I think.
I don't like that I haven't blogged in weeks. I thought about it a few times but was either too busy or didn't feel I had much to say.
I'm driving this car this week. It's okay, but it isn't a Buick! It's the rental while our other car is having body work done.
