Turkey Vultures

Hey cool, we ate lunch outside today (it's in the 70's) and three turkey vultures were flying overhead...
Then two of them perched on the building where the windsock is (three story building). One sat with it's huge wings open for serveral minutes. Then they got real close to eachother (it looked like they were kissing). I thought this was really cool because they have an incredible wingspan.

They are super ugly, but serve a great purpose in taking care of all that roadkill. Quite impressive.
I think I got too much sun out there. But after 6 months of winter weather, I sure can't complain! It feels great outside. My lips feel a little burned. I don't feel quite right at all today. My guts feel hinky and I feel for some reason 'out of place'. Like I shouldn't be here at all! That's strange being that I've worked in the same place since 1992...

Maybe that's a sign that it's time to polish up the ol' resume

Yea, them is some ugly birds. Very graceful though.

I keep seeing magpies and pheasants on the way into the plant. I still have to identify that yellow bird.
