A Towhee
Saw a cool bird two days ago. Haven't seen one of these in months, but we've been slacking bigtime on the birdseed. It's expensive and the stupid red squirrels are eating most of it. Then at night the racoon raids the feeder. Anyway, I didn't take this but here's a picture of this little guy. I've lived in Ohio all my life and never saw one of these until I started feeding/watching the birds in our backyard at the new house. Okay well there was going to be a picture of one here, but I keep getting an error message when I try to upload! I'll have to wait until Luke: God of all things PC gets in!! He'll help me. Anyway, I'll also post some other pics of things I've seen in my backyard. If you're a city cat it will blow your mind :-)

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh he is pretty
one year (and I live in an apt in the city) I had a bird build a nest under my window he came every spring left every winter
then window painters tore it down :(

Denis loves bird watching I think he has some bird pictures on his site let me look ....
hmm disappointing not all his pictures are up (he would say it is like our closet I take all the room lol)
but there is some
winter in Munich where I live - geese and ducks
egrets in florida mating season
pelicans in florida and some otters
florida alligator
