Bad night!
Got to sleep after midnight. Crista woke me up at 4:30 because the lightbulb in her nightlight burned out and she woke up in the dark. Her screaming woke Halle who also needed to be consoled before she could go back to sleep. Then I finally got back to sleep and before my clock could go off I hear Garry say,"Get Chelsie, she's puking" (this if you don't know is my cue to jump out of the bed, fumble in the dark until I can find the dog and then to drag her 75 lb butt into the bathroom so the puke will be easier to clean up). So I yell, "Get the lights" so I could find her. Got her in there in the nick of time. Only one tiny bit of puke on the carpet. What a way to start the day. G cleaned it up though, so he gets points for that (especially cuse it was only 20 after 5). The worst part about all of this is that her vomit wasn't the old normal yellow tummy acid/bile or whatever that I've grown accustomed to. It looked to me that there was blood in it. I wonder how much longer she will be around. Poor Chels. Anyway, my alarm was going to go off about the time Garry started to clean up the bathroom floor, so I just headed down to deal with little dog, who had of course peed in his cage over night. Oh well, a four day weekend lies ahead. I think I'll be able to squeeze in a little extra rest. And quality time with the kids and dogs of course. Any of which I would gladly clean up pee, or poop or vomit for at any hour of the night.
Not feeling sorry for myself of course. I've got a great life/family/home etc.... Its all good, I just wish I had been able to get 5 uninterrupted hours, that wouldda been sweet.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of my loyal readers (ha ha)
